Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Horse Racing Club is organizing the 11th evening of the Dubai Carnival season on Friday at the Meydan International Racecourse.
With the participation of 109 horses competing in 8 rounds, all of which were designated for purebred crossbred horses, with the exception of the first round designated for purebred Arabian horses.
The total prize money is 1.8 million dirhams.
The evening will start with the first round for purebred Arabian horses “Takafawal” aged 4 years and above, over a distance of 1600 meters on sandy ground, with the participation of 16 horses.
His financial prizes amount to 140 thousand dirhams.
The second round will be held for purebred “Takafaw” horses aged 3 years and above, over a distance of 1,600 grass metres, with the participation of 16 horses, and prizes amounting to 175,000 dirhams.
The third round was allocated to novice horses aged 3 years and above, for a distance of 1,900 sand metres, with the participation of 10 horses, and financial prizes amounting to 165 thousand dirhams.
The excitement reaches its peak in the fourth main round, the Dubai Trophy race, dedicated to horses by age and results, over a distance of 1,200 grass metres, with the participation of 13 horses. For cash prizes of 350 thousand dirhams.
The fifth round, “Takawala”, will be held for ages 3 and up, over a distance of 1,400 sand metres, with the participation of 16 horses. With cash prizes amounting to 190 thousand dirhams.
In the sixth inning, 16 horses aged 3 years and over compete in the Lord Gilters – Parity race, over a distance of 1,800 grass metres. For cash prizes of up to 350 thousand dirhams.
The seventh round is devoted to parity races over a distance of 1,200 sandy metres. With the participation of 8 horses, and with cash prizes amounting to 250 thousand dirhams.
The evening concludes with the eighth round of the 1200m grass race. With the participation of 14 horses, for cash prizes of 190,000 dirhams.
