Dubai, UAE – His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State,
affirmed that the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait represent a model of Gulf solidarity and sustainable cooperation.
He pointed out that the directives of the wise leadership to celebrate this relationship
for a week under the slogan “The UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever” embody
a deep Emirati appreciation for the balanced and generous stances of Kuwait and its brotherly people.
Kuwait… and a strong will to rise again
This came during the “Strategic Partnership and Brotherhood Forever” session within the activities
of the “Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Forum,” which was moderated by Kuwaiti media figure Khalifa Al-Muzain.
His Excellency stressed that Kuwait has always been a voice of wisdom and solidarity in the face of regional challenges.
He stressed that the people of Kuwait and its leaders have shown a strong will to rise up
and recover after historical crises, reflecting the strength of the fraternal ties between the two countries.
Dr. Gargash pointed to the special place that Kuwait holds in the heart
of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
He recalled his visit to the Emirati soldiers in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion
and his keenness to check on them and raise their morale.
He also praised the features of economic and trade cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait.
Calling for increased investment and joint ventures, and for expanding
the actual involvement of the private sector to deepen the bilateral partnership.
Kuwaiti shrewdness and intelligence
Gargash pointed to Kuwait’s influential role in foreign policy and the diplomatic standing of its leadership.
He stressed that Kuwaiti shrewdness and intelligence have strengthened the country’s presence
on the international stage and contributed to enhancing its position as a key player in the region.
He also stressed that the approach of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is characterized by wisdom
and moderation, avoiding confrontations and prioritizing de-escalation to ensure regional stability.
He pointed out that the firm fraternal solidarity among the GCC countries forms a collective shield in the face of challenges,
and reflects the Gulf’s commitment to a single destiny and a shared vision for achieving security and peace.
