Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Al Bataeh and Al Jazira, which took place on Thursday evening as part of the UAE League, ended in a 1-1 draw.
Al Bataeh met Al Jazira at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium, as part of the 14th round of the ADNOC Pro League competition.
Al Bataeh took an early lead in the third minute through Aziz Ganiev, who unleashed a powerful low shot, scoring the team’s fastest goal in the ADNOC Pro League after just 137 seconds. Simon Panza then equalized for Al Jazira in the 61st minute.

As the second half began, Al Jazira put more pressure on the home team’s defense, and Simon Banza succeeded in scoring the equalizer with a well-placed header in the 61st minute. This was his second goal in the ADNOC Pro League, both of which were against Al Bataeh.
Both teams made several substitutions in the final minutes, trying to revitalize their attack and snatch a winning goal. Al-Bataeh’s goalkeeper saved his team from a certain goal in the 83rd minute. Meanwhile, Nabil Fekir almost scored a remarkable goal from a corner kick in the 84th minute, but his shot hit the crossbar, before Banza’s follow-up went over the crossbar.
With that result, Al Jazira raised its tally to 22 points in fifth place, while Al Bataeh occupies twelfth place with 11 points.
