Abu Dhabi, UAE – In line with the directives of the wise leadership, and under the theme “The UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever,” a week-long celebration of UAE-Kuwaiti relations will commence next Thursday across all the emirates.
Organized by the UAE Government Media Office, the week will feature wide participation from government and private entities.
This celebratory week underscores the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties that bind the UAE and Kuwait,
embodying the spirit of solidarity and affection between the two brotherly nations.
It will include a diverse program of over 40 community, cultural, and entertainment events spanning a full week.
Reflecting musical heritage
Among the highlights are two musical evenings titled “Kuwait’s Timeless Nights in the UAE,”
taking place on January 29 and 30 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and Burj Park in Dubai.
These evenings will feature a selection of renowned singers from the UAE and Kuwait,
presenting works that reflect the shared musical heritage of both countries.
The program also includes a celebratory procession of sailboats along the Abu Dhabi waterfront, in addition to illuminating a number of iconic landmarks
and buildings in various emirates of the country with colors and symbols that express Emirati-Kuwaiti brotherhood.
And the UAE’s airports are participating in the events by welcoming Kuwaiti visitors with special activities,
including the presentation of commemorative gifts, reflecting Emirati hospitality and the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.
A variety of events
The week also includes a variety of events at shopping malls, drone displays throughout the celebrations,
and the UAE-Kuwait Media Forum on January 29 and the UAE-Kuwait Economic Forum on February 2,
aimed at strengthening media and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Sheikh Zayed Festival, Global Village, and several shopping centers are also hosting a rich program of activities
and performances, while Fujairah Fort is hosting the “Kuwait in Fujairah Festival” as part of the week’s events.
This major event reflects the strength of the fraternal bonds between the UAE and Kuwait
and embodies a shared vision for a future built on cooperation, integration, and sustainable prosperity.
