Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority’s pavilion at the “Yumex 2026” exhibition and conference witnessed a remarkable turnout from official delegations, international experts, and representatives of international companies.

They were keen to review the technical projects that the Authority is reviewing as part of its participation in the most prominent global event for unmanned systems and autonomous systems.

The Advanced Agriculture 4.0 project attracted wide interest from visitors by showcasing remote crop monitoring technologies.

Which allows farmers to monitor the condition of the plant in real time and make accurate decisions without having to be in the field.

These technologies include networks of smart sensors installed in soil and on plants.

Which measures vital indicators such as soil moisture, temperature, light levels, and nutrient ratios.

These devices are linked to advanced digital platforms that analyze data instantly and provide farmers with predictive reports on plant irrigation, fertilization, or pest protection needs.

These systems also allow sending instant alerts when any abnormal changes occur.

The Authority also provided an explanation of an integrated system of technologies that support advanced agriculture.

They include self-irrigation systems based on soil moisture analysis, and predictive solutions to determine the best irrigation and fertilization times.

Along with digital platforms that allow farmers to monitor their crops remotely and make instant decisions based on accurate data.

In a related context, the air traffic control project using drones continued to attract the interest of participants.

The Authority reviewed the mechanisms for using aircraft to conduct accurate aerial surveys of farms and estates, monitor agricultural and environmental violations, and support inspection teams in making prompt and effective decisions.

The visual control project in food establishments also received great interaction.

It provides solutions that rely on smart cameras and visual analysis systems that operate around the clock to ensure the highest levels of compliance and food safety.
