In detail, Adnan Kazim, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airlines «Emirates Airlines», said that the carrier continues its strategic expansion in «Premier Economy Class», with the entry of new aircraft into service, and the continued process of modernizing aircraft within the fleet, in light of the strong and growing demand from passengers in this class to various stations within its global network.

Kazem explained that the «Premier Economy Class» cabin serves about 70 cities across the carrier’s network around the world, on board more than 100 aircraft equipped with it.

This constitutes about 40% of the tanker’s fleet designated for transporting passengers.

He pointed out that the prestigious international award-winning class offers spacious seats, additional legroom, many additional specifications and amenities, and high-end dining options.

major expansion

Kazem revealed that the next fiscal year will be a major expansion year for premium economy class.

With a strong focus on increasing capacity from approximately two million seats this year to four million seats within this class across its network of destinations in the next fiscal year.

He explained that this degree will be available to an increasing number of destinations in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Middle East region, in addition to European stations and others in the Far East.

Regarding the general growth in operational capacity as a whole, Kazem explained that «Emirates Airlines» expanded during the current fiscal year ending next March 2026 by about 4.5%.

He expected the expansion in the next fiscal year to be at a rate close to this level.

In addition to introducing more aircraft «Airbus A380» into service during the coming year, the company’s fleet size continues to grow.
