Dubai, UAE – The fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit 2026 kicks off today, Friday.
It is the largest global summit in the content industry economy, organized by the UAE Government Media Office.
It is hosted by the UAE for 3 days at (Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and Future Museum) in Dubai, under the slogan “Purposeful Content”.
The event is sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The fourth edition of the summit is witnessing double momentum, with attendance exceeding 30,000 people.
In addition to the participation of more than 15,000 content creators, major Arab and international influencers, and more than 500 speakers with over 3.5 billion followers.
While the summit hosts 150 global CEOs and experts as part of its sessions and dialogues.
This took place in the largest interactive forum for exchanging ideas and knowledge, sharing experiences and expertise, and discussing the challenges, prospects, and trends of the knowledge industry and digital media sector.
580 events
The Billion Followers Summit offers more than 580 keynote sessions, round tables, interactive dialogue, workshops, debates and inspiring speeches.
It covers three main tracks including economics, content, and technology.
Experts and specialists will showcase their inspiring experiences and expertise on the most important digital media trends and the paths they are taking.
Qualitative global initiatives
The Billion Followers Summit, in its fourth edition, focuses on two axes.
First: Transforming content creators into impact makers, through creating purposeful content. In this context, the summit was launched with the global content creator, Mr. Best, the most followed influencer on YouTube
The summit and «TikTok» launched the first educational content creators award of its kind globally.
Which aims to support the entertainment educational content industry and honor the best teachers.
The summit also launched 5 strategic partnerships with YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, X Platform, and Meta to support meaningful content.
The second axis focuses on the use of artificial intelligence tools in content creation.
The Billion Followers Summit launched the AI Film Award competition in partnership with Google Gemini, with a grand prize of up to $1 million.
The competition witnessed the participation of more than 30,000 people from 116 countries, of which 5 films qualified and will be shown during the summit, and the winner of the award will be honored on the second day of the summit activities.
The closing day of the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit will also witness the announcement of the winners of the «Influencer Accelerators» program within the «Investing with Content Creators» program.
Which is the first of its kind in the world, and is organized by «Influencer Headquarters», in cooperation with «500 Global».
It aims to provide funding and financial support to startups and individuals with pioneering ideas in the content industry, to present them to an evaluation committee composed of an elite group of major investors and companies.
Content creators or companies that successfully submit their presentations to the evaluation committee will receive investment opportunities and funding to develop their projects worth up to AED 50 million, provided by the Influencers Headquarters and investors in the content creation sector.
The program attracted 1,131 entries from content creators and digital startups working in the content creation sector.
They belong to more than 70 countries.

The Billion Followers Summit brings together the world’s largest social media platforms under one roof.
Where Snapchat, X, YouTube, TikTok, Google Gemini and Meta «Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp», Disney+ and TWITCH) meet the top audience.
