Al Ain, UAE — His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, reviewed the most prominent strategic projects in the energy and water sectors in Al Ain. This comes as part of His Highness’s keenness to follow up on developments in vital projects. They support the emirate’s sustainable development journey.
This took place during His Highness’s reception, today Friday, of a delegation from the Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi, headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Department.
During the meeting, the Department’s strategic directions, key priorities, and future plans were reviewed.
These plans aim to enhance the efficiency of energy and water services.
They ensure operational readiness to keep pace with rapid population and urban growth requirements in the Al Ain Region.
Innovative and advanced solutions
The meeting also addressed efforts to enhance the sustainability of natural resources
and improve the quality of services provided to individuals and the business sector.
In addition, innovative and advanced solutions were adopted in managing the energy and water system. These contribute to increased operational efficiency and improved performance in line with the best international standards and practices.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed emphasized the importance of integration and concerted efforts among the various concerned entities
to ensure achieving the highest levels of efficiency in the provision of services related to this vital sector over the long term.
He stressed the need to keep pace with rapid technological transformations. Furthermore, he emphasized harnessing modern technologies to support resource sustainability and enhance energy and water security.
