Dubai, UAE – Dubai Duty Free announced that its annual sales recorded record numbers, the first in its history.
It achieved 8.680 billion dirhams in 2025, an increase of 9.85% compared to 2024.
This marked one of the most successful years in the history of the free market.
The market said in a statement that these positive results came after 10 months of record sales.
December culminated in an exceptional performance after recording 922.77 million dirhams.
This is the highest monthly sales level in the travel retail sector over 42 years, an increase of 12.27% compared to December 2024.
December sales were boosted when the market launched a 25% discount offer on December 20 to mark the market’s 42nd anniversary celebrations.
This resulted in a significant jump in sales, amounting to AED 69.097 million within 24 hours.
