Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attempt to target the residence of His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation,
expressing its condemnation of this heinous attack and the threat it poses to security and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed the UAE’s solidarity
with His Excellency the President of the Russian Federation and the government and people of friendly Russia.
She emphasized her continued rejection of all forms of violence that aim to undermine security and stability.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Ukraine of carrying out
a drone attack targeting the residence of President Vladimir Putin.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied these accusations, describing them as “lies”.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump expressed his shock at the information Putin conveyed to him about the incident.
Lavrov said that Ukraine carried out a “terrorist attack” using drones targeting the presidential residence in the Novgorod region.
He noted that Russian air defense systems were able to shoot down all the drones and prevent any damage.
