Dubai, UAE – Revenues from the 120th public auction of distinctive vehicle plate numbers reached 109 million and 26 thousand dirhams.
This is the highest financial revenue recorded by the Special Numbers Auction since its launch.
The auction was launched by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority last Saturday.
The number (BB12) achieved the highest value at the auction, and was sold for 9 million and 660 thousand dirhams.
It was followed by the number (AA25) with 8 million and 40 thousand dirhams, then the number (BB30) with 6 million and 740 thousand dirhams.
Then the number (CC100) is 4 million and 210 thousand dirhams.
The Authority indicated that the results recorded in the auction come within its approach to organizing public and electronic auctions.
Taking into account neutrality, transparency, and providing equal opportunities for those wishing to acquire distinctive numbers.
