Dubai, UAE – The World Green Economy Organization launched the “Green Rings” platform.
Which includes a series of dialogues to unify visions and efforts between global leaders, policy makers and business leaders.
This aims to enable a qualitative transformation in the global green economy by stimulating strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors.
In addition to accelerating the transition to green and inclusive economic models, with their outcomes translated into viable solutions through the issuance of two specialized policy papers.
Two courses were organized within the initiative in cooperation with strategic partners.
The first episode was held in partnership with the American Business Council in Dubai, and hosted by the Sustainability and Innovation Center of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.
The second episode was organized in cooperation with the Dubai Chambers as part of the World Green Economy Summit.
The two sessions brought together an elite group of representatives of government agencies, business leaders, international institutions, and sustainability experts in in-depth dialogues that focused on enabling responsible business practices and enhancing the integration of roles between the public and private sectors.
The outcomes of the two sessions resulted in the preparation of two specialized policy papers:
The first is titled “Accelerating the Transition to Responsible Business.”
The second is entitled “Empowering the Sustainability System for Responsible Business”.
The two papers addressed the most prominent challenges and opportunities associated with integrating sustainability into business models.
They also provided practical recommendations to support innovation, strengthen regulatory frameworks and stimulate sustainable investments.
The World Green Economy Organization called on entities, institutions, the private sector, academic bodies and international organizations to join as partners in hosting future sessions within the initiative.
In addition to contributing to expanding the scope of this global platform.
To support the formulation of joint solutions and enhance international efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and build a more prosperous and sustainable green future.
