Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates today offered its sincere condolences and solidarity to the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco for the victims of the floods that swept through the city of Safi, resulting in deaths, injuries to dozens of people, and significant material damage.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, and to the Kingdom of Morocco and its people for this tragic loss.

The ministry also wished, in its statement, a speedy recovery to all those injured as a result of these floods.

This stance affirms the deep-rooted bonds of brotherhood and continued solidarity between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco in the face of difficult circumstances.
