Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways and Vietnam Airlines have strengthened travel relations between the UAE and Vietnam.
By launching a token partnership agreement that supports the new service recently launched by the Union between Abu Dhabi and Hanoi.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, under the agreement, guests traveling on Etihad Airways can travel to Vietnamese destinations and other popular destinations across Asia.
This is done by booking one ticket for the entire trip, and clearing travel transactions for one time, without the need to transport luggage.
Thus, Abu Dhabi becomes the easy bridge linking Vietnam to the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
“This partnership provides significant value to our guests by opening the way for travel to the most vibrant and sought-after Asian destinations,” said Eric Dee, Etihad Airways’ Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer. In addition to our partnership with the Loyalty Program, which allows members of both companies to earn and redeem miles across our shared global networks, this collaboration underscores our commitment to providing our guests with greater flexibility, a wider range of travel, and unique experiences.
For his part, Nguyen Quang Truong, Director of Planning and Corporate Development at Vietnam Airlines, said that this cooperation provides seamless access to Etihad Airways’ network throughout the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
The symbol partnership agreement will be implemented gradually.
Passengers on Vietnam Airlines will be able to reach six destinations beyond Abu Dhabi.
They are: Athens, Addis Ababa, Bahrain, Muscat, Cairo and Istanbul.
Significantly expanding the network’s reach in the Middle East, Europe and Africa through the Etihad Global Network.
