Al Dhafra, United Arab Emirates – The Razin “Second Station” competition of the 19th Al Dhafra Festival, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, will begin on Saturday.
It will continue until the 22nd of the same month at the camel auction platform in the Razin area of Abu Dhabi.
The Al Dhafra Festival includes 4 camel parades (Suwaihan, Razin, Madinat Zayed and the closing Al Dhafra).
355 rounds and 3,370 prizes worth more than 88.7 million dirhams were allocated to it, distributed among the categories of “localities”, “Majahim”, “authentic hybrid women”, and “Al-Wadh”.
Razin’s advantage includes organizing 76 rounds for camels of sheikhs and tribesmen.
Including 38 rounds for local camels, 32 rounds for wild camels, and 6 rounds for purebred hybrid camels.
This is within 6 age groups (Mafarid, Haqaqiq, Laqaya, Ithda, Thanaya, Hawl).
730 prizes were allocated to it, with a total value of 11 million and 450 thousand dirhams.
The area surrounding the camel auction platform in Zarin witnesses the influx of owners of purebred camels from localities, purebred camels and hybrids from within the Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
This is to participate in a camel show that reflects their authentic customs, ancient traditions, and legacy spanning their fathers and grandfathers.
The first stop of the festival, “Muzayna Suwaihan”, was held during the period from October 27 to November 3, 2025.
The participation of 2,402 owners of purebred camels from Al-Majahim, local camels, and purebred camels from 6 Gulf and Arab countries was witnessed: the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, and the Republic of Yemen.
The main camel display platform in Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Square in Suwaihan attracted the attendance of more than 24,000 visitors from camel owners, heritage display enthusiasts and tourists.
