Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Dubai Industrial City, a subsidiary of TECOM Group, announced the signing of an agreement with Legend Holding Group.
Under it, the latter invests 300 million dirhams to establish an integrated center for mobility and green energy solutions.
It spans an area of more than one million square feet and will become operational in 2027.
The project is seen as a strategic step aimed at supporting the transition towards sustainable manufacturing and enhancing the capabilities of the automotive supply chain.
In line with the goals of the “300 Billion Project”, the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, and the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”.
The center will include lines for assembling electric and non-electric motorcycles, and facilities for providing electric vehicle charging solutions and after-sales services.
Relying on solar energy systems to generate electricity.
Saud Abu Al Shawareb, Executive Vice President of TECOM Group – Industrial Sector, said that the project embodies the growing confidence in Dubai Industrial City’s infrastructure and strategic location.
He stressed that the new center will contribute to supporting the sustainable mobility system and enhance innovation in the field of vehicle manufacturing and clean energy.
Dubai Industrial City is home to more than 1,100 companies and 350 factories operating in diverse vital sectors, and provides an integrated system that includes industrial lands, storage facilities and logistics services.
This makes it a key pillar in supporting the growth of the manufacturing sector in Dubai and the UAE for more than two decades.
