On Thursday morning, all eyes will be on Dubai International Stadium, where the UAE national cricket team will play its second match in the ICC CWC World League series.

When he meets his Nepalese counterpart in a crucial match in the qualifiers for the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

The qualifiers, hosted by Dubai, will feature the national teams of the UAE, the United States, and Nepal.

Amidst strong competition to secure a qualifying spot for the next stages of the tournament.

The UAE national team had opened its campaign in the tournament last Tuesday

against its American counterpart,

In a match that saw a close performance from both sides,

before the American team secured a narrow victory,

After a remarkable performance from the Emirati players

who delivered a good level of play despite the loss.

The matches will be held at the Dubai International Stadium and the ICC Academy.

The World League is one of the most important

qualifying stages for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.

The participating teams are working to collect as many points

as possible to ensure early qualification.

The UAE national team is scheduled to play two more matches after facing Nepal

ANDThe second match is against Nepal again at the end of the qualifiers on November 5th.

The UAE national team’s coaching staff hopes that the players

will deliver a strong performance against Nepal to compensate

for the loss in the first match and restore balance to the team’s journey in the tournament.

Especially with the expected large public support from members of

the Emirati community and fans of the game in the country.
