Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The National Paralympic Committee has reviewed preparations for the 5th Asian Paralympic Games “Aichi – Nagoya 2026”.
This was during the special meeting held yesterday in Japan, organized by the Asian Paralympic Committee and in cooperation with the Japanese Organizing Committee for the Games.
The delegation of the National Paralympic Committee included Dhiban Salem Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the Committee, and Saleh Al Riahi, Technical Director.
In addition to representatives of Paralympic committees from various countries of the Asian continent.
During the meeting, the heads of delegations reviewed the organizational and technical preparations for the session scheduled for the period from October 18 to 24, 2026, with the participation of 18 Paralympic sports.
The meeting featured detailed presentations on competition locations, accommodation facilities, transportation, and logistics.
In addition to aspects related to the classification of games and sports stadiums.
Dhiban Salem Al Muhairi stressed that the UAE’s participation in the meeting comes within the framework of the Paralympic Committee’s keenness on early planning and effective participation in continental sports forums.
He praised the distinguished Japanese organization and the organizing committee’s interest in providing a supportive environment for athletes.
