Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Emirates Billiards Federation announced the participation of players from the national team in the 10-ball World Championship.
Which will be hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, during the period from October 23 to November 2.
This is with the participation of a group of the game’s most prominent stars around the world.
The UAE is represented in the tournament by players Mahmoud Sharif and Khaled Al Zarouni.
They are participating among 256 players from 55 countries in the tournament, which is considered one of the most prominent international tournaments on the International Federation’s agenda.
According to the tournament system, 112 players will qualify to compete in the final stage tomorrow, October 28, based on the international classification.
The rest of the participants will enter the preliminary stage in an effort to book qualification cards.
The journey of the UAE national team players begins from the second stage tomorrow.
The draw is held to determine the matches according to the international classification, and the matches are held in a knockout system until the final.
