Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The 64th International Edition of the UAE Mixed Martial Arts Warriors Championship will begin on Wednesday.
This is organized by Palms Sports, supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and within the activities of Abu Dhabi Challenge Week.
The tournament organizing committee announced the details of the event during the conference held yesterday in the presence of Fouad Darwish, CEO of Palms Sports Company, and a number of participants in the competitions held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center “ADNEC”.
This is with the participation of 26 male and female fighters representing 17 countries, who will fight 13 strong matches to compete for three titles.
In the most prominent confrontations, Russian Amr Mammadov will meet Armenian Marton Mezhlomyan in the main fight for the lightweight title.
Somali Mohieddin Abu Bakr will also meet his Brazilian counterpart, Iago Ribeiro, in the second main fight, to compete for the flyweight title.
The third main match will bring together Azerbaijani Asharv Sharpov and Angolan Demaraty Pena in the featherweight division.
The 64th edition witnesses prominent Arab participation through a group of talented male and female fighters.
Among them are Lebanese Amina Hedaya, Moroccan Marwan Balqwait, and Palestinian Abdul Hussein.
Fouad Darwish said that the 64th edition embodies the cultural and sporting diversity of the tournament, with the participation of fighters from 17 countries.
To compete in three title fights and bring together different fighting schools, strengthening the identity of the world championship.
