Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Ministry of Economy and Tourism announced that it will host the “UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit” on October 27, 2025 in Dubai.
This comes within the activities of the “World Summit for the Future of Hospitality – FHS World 2025”. It is one of the most prominent global platforms for the hospitality, tourism and investment sectors.
It aims to strengthen economic and tourism partnerships between the UAE and African countries. They also plan to expand mutual investments in priority sectors, particularly tourism, hospitality, and related services.
Memorandum of understanding
In this context, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with The Bench International. They are the organizer of the “World Summit for the Future of Hospitality – FHS World 2025”.
The signing took place in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism. It was signed on behalf of the Ministry by His Excellency Badriya Al Midour, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry. Meanwhile, it was signed on behalf of the company by Daria Smith, Events Portfolio Manager.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in organizing the “Emirates-Africa Tourism Investment Summit”. They will also coordinate related promotional efforts. This supports achieving the summit’s objectives of highlighting opportunities for cooperation. It also promotes the advantages of investing in tourism activities and projects with the African continent.
The UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit hosts more than 250 senior government officials, decision-makers and investors from 53 African countries. These include tourism ministers and representatives of investment promotion agencies on the continent. This event strengthens the UAE’s presence as a reliable investment partner for the African continent. It also opens new horizons for qualitative cooperation in vital areas. These areas contribute to building a more integrated and sustainable economic future.
Strategic platform
His Excellency Badriya Al Midour stressed that the “UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit” represents a strategic platform for exchanging visions and experiences between the UAE and African countries. This contributes to advancing sustainable development efforts by establishing projects and partnerships that serve common interests. It aligns with the goals of the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision. The vision aims at consolidating the country’s position as a leading global center for the new economy. It focuses on international partnerships and future sectors.
