Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Financial Market attracted 59,118 new accounts from the beginning of 2026 until the end of August. In an indication of the continued flow of investors into the market, coinciding with trading worth a total of 292.92 billion dirhams during the first eight months of the year.
In August, the number of new accounts on the Dubai Financial Market reached 3,492. The value of brokerage companies’ trading reached approximately 29.22 billion dirhams, an increase of 3.71 billion dirhams. With a growth of 14.54% compared to August 2025, which recorded trading worth 25.51 billion dirhams.
Monthly data showed that the number of new accounts reached its highest level in March, at 12,837 accounts. Followed by July with 11,366 accounts, then April with 7,356 accounts.
January recorded the opening of 6,339 new accounts, February 5,644 accounts, and May 5,210 accounts. June 6874 accounts.
The value of brokerage companies’ trading in the Dubai Financial Market during the first eight months of 2026 amounted to approximately AED 292.92 billion. Compared to 231.73 billion dirhams during the corresponding period in 2025, an increase of 61.19 billion dirhams, equivalent to 26.41%.
Hermes UAE is in the lead
EFG Hermes UAE topped the ranking of brokerage firms in terms of trading value during all eight months of the year. Maintaining first place unchanged.
Securities’ numbers came in second place during February, March, June, July and August. It ranked fourth in January and April, and third in May.
BHM Capital Financial Services maintained its presence in the top four. While Emirates NBD Securities came in fourth place during July and August. After finishing second in January, April, May and June.
