Voice of the Emirates – Google continues to strengthen its position in the global artificial intelligence race. It is currently developing five advanced projects, ranging from lightweight technologies for everyday use to ultra-powerful ones. These projects are geared towards research and industrial applications. Among the most prominent is Project Nano Banana 2, designed for low-power mobile devices, in addition to Project Gemini 3 Pro, which is expected to be the most powerful project in the company’s history.
According to tech reports, Google’s Nano Banana 2 project aims to bring advanced artificial intelligence tools to small devices like smartphones and smartwatches. These tools operate on highly efficient models without requiring a constant internet connection. Meanwhile, Gemini 3 Pro represents the latest generation of the renowned Gemini ecosystem. It boasts unprecedented linguistic analysis and creative capabilities, along with real-time translation, voice interaction, and contextual understanding with remarkable human-like accuracy.
Other projects include tools for generating images and videos with enhanced realism, and a new data processing system based on advanced self-learning algorithms that reduce power consumption and double performance speed.
Experts believe these projects represent a significant shift in Google’s strategy. The company seeks to expand its presence in the artificial intelligence market after fierce competition with OpenAI and Microsoft. They assert that 2026 will witness a major technological showdown between these tech giants with the imminent official launch of Gemini 3 Pro.
According to internal sources, the company plans to release beta versions of some of these projects during the first half of next year. This is in preparation for integrating them into its core product portfolio, from its search engine to its Android operating system.
