Cairo, Egypt – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed that the Terminal 4 project at Cairo International Airport be based on an integrated operating system, utilizing the latest systems in air navigation, ground operations, and building management.

During a meeting with the Minister of Civil Aviation, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized that the project represents a strategic one, aiming to develop Cairo Airport’s infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided to passengers.
Unprecedented capacity
The Minister of Civil Aviation confirmed that the new passenger terminal will accommodate at least 30 million passengers annually, bringing the airport’s total capacity to more than 60 million passengers annually.
This places Cairo Airport among the largest and most capable airports in the region, underscoring President Sisi’s vision to enhance infrastructure.
Latest smart technologies
The Minister explained that the building will utilize the latest smart technologies in airport management and operating systems, making it one of the most advanced passenger terminals in the world.
She points out that the project will provide travelers with an exceptional and integrated travel experience that meets the highest international standards and aligns with Sisi’s directives.
