Dubai, UAE – Trading in UAE stock markets during Monday’s session (the first session of the week) amounted to about 3.39 billion dirhams.
It was distributed at a rate of 1.064 billion dirhams on the Dubai Financial Market, and 2.32 billion dirhams on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market.
This came after trading 1.83 billion shares, through the execution of 57,748 transactions.
The market capitalization of the shares listed on the two markets amounted to approximately 3.72 trillion dirhams.
It was distributed at a rate of 878.16 billion dirhams for shares of the Dubai Financial Market and 2.949 trillion dirhams for shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market.
The Dubai Financial Market index closed at 5,288.7 points, while the Abu Dhabi Securities Market index closed at 9,462.37 points.

In the Dubai Financial Market, the companies: “Emaar Properties”, \”Emirates NBD”, “Dubai Islamic”, “Air Arabia”, “Salik”, and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Dewa” acquired 79.54% of the market’s liquidity at the end of Monday’s trading.
According to market data, the total trading value of the six shares amounted to approximately AED 846.97 million.
While the trading value in Dubai Financial as a whole amounted to about 1.064 billion dirhams.
Emaar Properties takes center stage
In turn, Emaar Properties shares topped the market activity in terms of liquidity with about 466.8 million dirhams.
Emirates NBD Bank shares followed second with a trading value of AED 136.82 million.
Dubai Islamic Bank shares came in third with trading amounting to AED 77.89 million.
Air Arabia shares came fourth with liquidity amounting to about 64.04 million dirhams.
While Salik shares came in fifth place with a trading value of 53.83 million dirhams.
It was followed by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Diwa” shares, with trades amounting to 47.57 million dirhams.
During Monday’s trading, UAE citizens turned to buying with a net investment of about 142.33 million dirhams.
After recording purchases worth more than AED 516.32 million, compared to sales worth AED 373.99 million.
