  • Commitment to leading global investment trends
  • A new phase in the global investment journey

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – The eighth session of the Sharjah Investment Forum will start on October 22 and 23.

The course will feature the theme “Leading Global Transformation: Investing Towards a Resilient and Sustainable Future.”

This is part of a unified agenda that brings it together with the World Investment Conference, which Sharjah is hosting for the first time.

This session serves as a platform that brings together leaders and pioneers of economic sectors and decision-makers from around the world.

It aims to find practical solutions to current global economic challenges.

It will be held at the Al-Jawahir Events and Conferences Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies “WAPA”.

Commitment to leading global investment trends

His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, said that the UAE reaffirms its commitment to leading global investment trends and building strategic partnerships that enhance cross-border cooperation.

He pointed out that holding the Sharjah Investment Forum 2025 in cooperation with the World Investment Conference reflects the country’s keenness to establish a flexible and attractive investment environment that supports innovation and drives sustainable growth.

It also opens new horizons for promising sectors and international investors.

The Ministry of Investment is proud to support these efforts and contribute to building an open and globally connected investment system.

For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Juma Al Mashrakh, Executive Director of Invest in Sharjah, stressed that choosing the logo for the next session of the Sharjah Investment Forum comes at an exceptional time when the global economy is witnessing radical transformations towards priorities based on flexibility, sustainability and responsible investment.

According to the Global Impact Investing Network 2024 report, about 3,900 organizations around the world manage assets worth US$1.571 trillion in this field.

It has recorded a compound annual growth of 21% since 2019.

A new phase in the global investment journey

Dr. James Zahn, Chairman of the Executive Board of the World Investment Conference, said: “Today we are on the cusp of a new phase in the global investment journey”.

He stressed that it is a stage shaped by transformative technology, geopolitical changes, and sustainability requirements.

He pointed out that this conference is not just a forum, but a starting platform for a bold, shared vision.

Through its unified agenda with the World Investment Forum, the Sharjah Investment Forum addresses the role of geopolitical, technological and climate transformations.

In addition to the latest developments in the digital economy.

It also reviews mechanisms for restructuring global value chains, enhancing economic resilience, supporting sustainable development goals, particularly smart agriculture, and achieving food security.

The size of the global “green economy” market reached about 7.9 trillion US dollars in the first quarter of this year.

This year’s organization of the Sharjah Investment Forum reflects the central role of the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah in shaping the global economic landscape.

It also emphasizes efforts to empower the national economy and enhance the readiness of local business communities to integrate into international markets.

In addition to building cooperation networks and exploring growth opportunities in a changing economic environment.
