Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued Israeli violations, its incursion into Syrian territory, and its interference in its internal affairs.
She stressed that these practices represent a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of sisterly Syria, international law, and the agreement concluded in 1974 to resolve the conflict between Syria and Israel.
This is in light of the escalating tensions witnessed in As-Suwayda Governorate.
In its statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry stressed Saudi Arabia’s full support for the measures taken by the Syrian government.
This is in order to achieve security and stability, maintain civil peace, and consolidate the sovereignty of the state and its institutions over all its territories.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of any separatist calls aimed at dividing Syria.
It also called on all components of the Syrian people to give priority to wisdom and the language of dialogue, and to unite in order to complete the building of the new Syrian state.
Saudi Arabia also renewed its call on the international community to stand by sisterly Syria and support it in consolidating security and stability and preserving its territorial integrity.
She stressed the need to take a serious and firm stance against the ongoing Israeli violations in Syria.
