Moscow, Russia – The Russian army continued its advance on various battlefronts in eastern Ukraine, including Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Monday that Russian army units had taken control of the town of Zaporozhsky in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.
The ministry’s daily statement said, “As a result of the decisive combat operations carried out by units of the East Vastok Group, the town of Zaporozhskie was liberated”.
She added in a statement that her forces continue to advance on several axes in the area of the Russian special military operation.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the capture of the town of Velia in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
