El Alamein, Egypt – The UAE billiards and snooker team won two new colored medals during its participation in the Arab Championship competitions currently being held in the city of El Alamein in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The tally rose to five colored medals.
Mohamed Sharif, the national billiard team player, won gold in the nine-ball billiard singles competition.
This was after his victory in the final over Bahraini Haider Maroum.
Mohamed Al-Joker, player of the national snooker team, also won bronze in the six-ball singles competition after losing the semi-finals to Iraqi Firas Kamel.
The team has won three medals in the tournament so far.
She won a silver medal in the team snooker competition, and two bronze medals in the junior doubles and singles billiards competitions.
